Event Report: Southampton Fast Twitch Triathlon is held at Applemore Health and Leisure, Claypits Lane, Dibden, Southampton, Hampshire, SO45 5TN.

Consists of 400m swim, 18 mile bike and 3.5 mile run.

SWIMMING
Applemore Recreation Centre swimming pool is 25metres in 5 lanes.
NO DIVING INTO POOL - Staggered start of 16-20 competitors every 10-20
minutes. Swimmers will be tapped on the shoulder and a float held under the water when they have two lengths to go. Please count your own lengths
Exit the stairs that lead to ground level and transition ? Go down carefully. Please report to poolside 15 minutes before your swim time to assist organisers. Do not change your swim start!

CYCLING
Take great care. COMPETITORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO START WITHOUT A HELMET! DRAFTING NOT PERMITTED! You must walk your bike between the transition and the mount/dismount line.
Watch out for cattle grids- great care. Be aware New Forest Ponies and other forest animals are sometimes on the roads.

RUNNING Take care! Use pavements where possible & FOLLOW SIGNS!!
